What Are The Best Chew Toys For Bull Breed Dogs?

There are a lot of different toys that are designed for different types of play. Some are for interactive play between you and your dog, others are puzzles to keep your dogs brain engaged but in this blog post I am going to talk about chew toys, specifically for our power chewing, bull breed dogs!

Best Chew Toy:

If you're looking for a toy that your dog can sit and chew for hours without destroying, my highest recommendation is GoughNut Rings.

These toys are desgined and manufactured in the USA with the main aims of safety and durability. There are different sizes and strengths available for different sized dogs. They range from the Small Ring, for dogs and puppies up to 8kg in weight, to the Maxx Pro 50 Ring for dogs over 25kg that have previously chewed through a Maxx Black Ring.

Each ring contains a red core. If your dog manages to chew through to this inner core, the instruction is to take it from your dog and return the toy for a free replacement. Yep, each toy is covered by a lifetime guarantee. You will need to pay postage to return the toy to the distributor in the UK, which at the time of writing is £2.95, but I still think it is pretty cool to have such a guarantee on a dog toy! Of course, no toy is indestructible to every dog, that is why I like the guarantee.

I have an Olde English Bulldogge and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, neither of which has managed to get to the core of a GoughNuts Maxx Ring despite many months of trying!

In summary, if you're looking for something that will keep your power chewer occupied for hours on end, I don't think there is a better toy on the market.

I would also like to give an honourable mention to the KONG Ring. It is not as strong as the GoughNuts option, but it is still a good, solid ring that my dogs love to chew and play games of tug with.
